Floater Tech
What is a Floater Tech?
A live event technician who has a general knowledge of audio, video, and lighting who can be called upon to support wherever he/she is needed. This technician assumes a lot of the same responsibilities as the AV Tech but can bounce between multiple rooms or areas.
Additional Information: Floater techs are able to “float” from one technical aspect or team to another to lend a hand where it is needed most.
