Creating Custom Rundown Views for Clients with Guest Pass
There are always situations where you want to share your shows’ Guest Pass with clients, but might not necessarily want them to see all of the content in your show. That’s why we introduced the ability to create a custom rundown view and define the columns you want visible in your show, schedule, or list’s Guest Pass. With this, you can hide the columns you don’t want clients, vendors, or other stakeholder to be able to see. This functionality also opens the ability to hide confidential information from the public guest pass until the last minute, for example announcing award winners, or unveiling new products.
Here’s how to create a custom rundown view for clients in with Guest Pass
Step 1: Open up your show’s guest pass
This can be done by clicking the export icon at the top right of any show, schedule, or list (must be a team admin, admin, or show caller to see the Guest Pass option)
Step 2: Click on “Set visible columns”
Step 3: Toggle off the columns you don’t want shown in Guest Pass
- The list of columns returns all columns in your show, regardless of if they’re currently hidden or shown. Note: Currently hidden columns will default to have their toggle switches set to off.
- Click on the toggle next to columns you want hidden and it’ll switch to off, indicated by it changing color to gray. Inversely, click the toggle to green if you want them shown.
- After toggling, the change is applied to your guest pass, with no need to save. Note: This won’t hide or show columns in real time, it will require a refresh of Guest Pass to get the columns to show or hide
